mobow, you might be onto something here. I'm curious, what would be the proper 78 for a 70lb Ally at 27"draw shooting a 27 5/8" arrow with 100g head? What about those CXs you're unloading? I think I would need 250s not 350s no?

I was originally thinking the 2413, but like I said, I think they are a bit weak, and the 2512's are perfect and damn near the same weight.
I think you've made you decision. Your where you want to be just have extra's, your going to crease and bend some.

No, you'll want the 350's.....I tried the 250's @ 28".....much too weak.

Yeah, I'm learning the advantages of shooting different spots....I've robinhooded enough damn CX arrows to buy a dozen aluminums...But man, it sure is NEAT!!

I'm still exploring and open though.....hey, does anyone else even make aluminum arrows?

And, I know a guy, we can make more....

I could go that short, but it would be pushing the issue.....I don't really want to, especially w/ a broadhead on the end of that stick..

And, a longer arrow is more stable.

250s will work just fine. I shot them 2 seasons ago at 70 lbs 26" draw and 27" arrows and they tuned very nice. At a short draw it will stiffen the arrow more. That and a 26" draw was busting out a whoping 284fps. They might not be as good for you with that extra inch.
