I was out in my back yard shooting night before last, and stopped to talk to buckeye on the phone... As I'm standing there, about ten deer move through the woods right behind my house and there was a decent buck still carrying antlers with them...

Makes me wonder how many others are still carrying their antlers?

I went out last sunday behind the house and took my yellow lab. We looked for an hour following trails in the snow and creeks, but came up empty handed. It was cool because my dog followed the deer trails like a bloodhound. It definitely wasa worth the trip watching her though.

I spent from 3:30 AM to 5:00 PM yesterday looking for sheds with the latest shed locating technology, butno luck.....Maybe I'll do better when we lose the white stuff.

I go every day at lunch. I don't get to walk but about 20 minutes, and haven't found anything....but it's still nice being out there, out of the building for a while.

I'm up to 5 at the moment. 2 fresh antlers and 3 old.. 1 dead buck[&:]. Been slow lately as I've put in about 30 hours lately without finding a single one.

Here's my best thus far of the year.. scores 69 6/8 as a 6 pointer.
