You will still be off much more than the pics with a peep.

Well W-T-F do I know:D

To me I would think it would "line up", but I have never shot with a peep. I know if I cant a little and my head changes, I shoot off target. I know it's because I am looking at the sight from a different angle.

Look how high up the body the "bullseye" is!!!! This is what I love about 3D targets (not really, I think it lures guys into shooting higher than they should). I hate the fact that on a 3D target, you are shooting at a 10 spot that is actually a few inches above where most hunters would normally aim on an animal, at least the in the Cervid class.

Atlas, shoot a couple groups from 35-40-45 yds, and then let's talk!!!! At 25 yds, you can do that, ante up the yardage, and things start getting a little hairier. While to some extent I'll agree with you, I've shot groups with Blazers and Duravanes in a mixed batch, and had similar results with both, I don't think shooting something that weighs 50 extra grains is going to fly overly close once you get out a bit in range.

That is where I aim,PERFECT double lung shot and puts them down QUICK and gives you the largest room for error. But that is off topic.

Guys I think we are missing the peep aspect.

If a person with a peep cants his bow, I believe one will get results Atlas did. Being the peep aligns the sight.

If I tried this, being it do not use a peep, I would be looking at the sight from a different angle. If I cant my bow I shoot off of where I am aiming.
I think if one has a peep and they can look through it, one can pull the shot off.

Does that make sense? That is why I ask Atlas if he used a peep.

Glad someone decided to think about it a little BEFORE calling me a liar..............big surprise who was the first to make that uninformed leap

When you cant or torque, the pins change position in relation to the string path, plain and simple.

Ok, but what if you cant your bow and it is consistant? One starts of 45 degree and hold through the shot. Being one is looking through a peep would the string and pins not still line up?

BTW I am just trying to understand, being I do not have a peep. TFOX thanks for your help

I didn't call you a liar. I said you weren't being entirely truthful. BS'ing us, maybe. Pulling our leg. Indulging in a flight of fancy. But I didn't call you a liar.

I wasn't the first, nor did I accuse you of lying. I honestly DID think you exaggerated, though.

I just went in my basement and tried to duplicate the scenario. I owe you an apology (and I apologize). I got very similar results at 20 yds Only noticeable difference was the canted bow shot low.

I wasn't talking about you.

So Arthur.........what are we doing differently that you hit7 FEET to the left and I stayed in the 10 ring. That is an incredible difference.

Did you think I kept my head straight up or something?
