The results with a broadhead outside should be horrible and penetration would suck as well.
That's what I would guess also! The broadhead won't as forgiving as field points and won't allow the arrow to recover from a poor launch, as quickly as a field point does.

I didn't want to say any thing about torquing. I did about the canting because good shooter have known this for years and have used it to shoot good scores on long shots when it's windy. Some people just won't lesson no mater what you say. Things do work different for different people. One thing I have learned in the selling game and shooting as a pro is they will come to you when there ready for help.

You say these affected you the most, we are all "different" and just because canting the bow or torqueing the bow string etc.didn't negatively effect you does not mean it will hold true for everyone else.

The next guy might shoot lights out with out a solid follow thru... I was just saying different things affect different people differently.
I understood that is what you meant........just not sure how the things we are talking about can be considered subjective or personal.

The results of your "tests" may not have played out the same for the next guy..... That is how it becomes "subjective or personal"..... Results WILL vary ;)

Why would me canting my bow be any different then you doing the same?

Whatis the point of taking advice on form and shot execution then...........if every person will see different results.

I had much different results than you.I shot at 15 feet through paper and when I purposely torque(bad torque)the bow,the impact is 1 1/2 to 2" to the left with a 2 1/2" tear. That is with a fallway and spring steel.

I said my arrows were fishtailing on the torque shots..........I have no doubt this would show a strong side tear as well..........again this is extreme torque that no one would EVER even come close to unless on purpose.

The results with a broadhead outside should be horrible and penetration would suck as well.
I'll check broadheads tomorrow.

Answer me one quick question, atlas...

When you canted the bow, how did you aim in order to put the arrows in side the 10 ring?

I have seen some people really torque a bow bad as I was doing so the equipment will make a difference, even if it is a little.I shot outside at 22 yards in the wind(VERY WINDY)and the shots were 5-6" off. With a bow that has been tuned on a Hooter Shooter(and in my hand)and with a bt release.

The torque I used outside was about the same as whatmost average hunters would have if they leaned out around a tree to try and make a shot.

Canting the bow on longer shots severely negatively effects my accuracy..... For me this is fact, you say it doesn't effect you though...

Whatis the point of taking advice on form and shot execution then...........if every person will see different results.

Ask any one who shoots competitively if form, shot sequence and execution is important to their accuracy. I can't believe we are even discussing this over a few shots from 25 yards in your back yard... I could probably draw aim close my eyes for 5 seconds and drop 3 in a ten ring... I wouldn't suggest anyone doing that either.... :D

What you may call good enough byputting 3 arrows in a 10 ring at 25 yards..... That justisn't good enough in a competition venue....

Go shoot a 450 round of 3 spot both ways (proper fit and form and you test criteria)and check back in with us with how it goes... ;)

I didn't aim any differently then normal.

I was afraid you were going to say that....

You're not being entirely truthful, are you?

When I cant my bow to the right45 degrees and put the pin on the target at 25 yards, my arrows are aimed at a point some 7 FEET left of the target. There is no way in hell you got those arrows into the 10 ring at 25 yards using your normal point of aim with that much cant.
