Hi there guys.Im pretty new here (this is my 2nd post).I was just wondering what kind of speed a guy can expect out of a 70lb BlackIce.It has a 28in draw,STS,string loop,brass nock point,peep sight (no rubber tube) and 360-365 gr arrows. Just wondering if you think it will get 280-285fps.Thank you all very much.

You are probably pretty close. IBO is 310/318. Going to lose about 20 fps with the 28" draw length. And maybe 5 more for the arrow weight over 350 fps. A couple more for your string peep/loop. Kisser button? Sounds like around 280.

My Black Ice is 65 at 28 inch with only a Tru-Peep and a loop on the string. I'm shooting a 419 grain axes arrow in the 270s. I haven't shot it over a chronograph. My archer advantage calculates 274 with the pin gap between 20 and 50 yards and it usually close. My chronograph quit working for some reason.
