Peak rut times in your state.

Here in Tx it is so big that it vary's as to where you are but here in East
Texas (Piney woods region) it is the last few days of Oct. and the first of Nov. This is the first of the heated action anyway.

Here in my woods in Minnesota the rut seems to really get heated up from about November 6th through November 13th. The 6th of November has been by far my best day to be in the woods. I see more bucks on that date usually every year then any other date I can think of!

Sorry for being a bit coarse ( was drinking during the superbowl ), I should have explained further.
To me, the peak rut means the peak breeding days. This is entirely different from the seeking phase (Oct. 20th-Nov 6th) and the chasing phase ( Nov. 7th- 12th) and the tending/breeding phase (Nov. 13th-23rd). I also experience a short blip of rutting activity on Dec. 5th-10th and again Jan. 4th-7th.
These dates are approximate and may change by a few days from year to year.
