Default New Strings/Cables

I need to get new strings/cables for my Hoyt Ultramag. I'm trying to choose between Winners Choice, Vaportrail, and Bucknasty. I was wondering if anyone has tried all 3. I want'ed to know which seems to hold up the best for the price.

I currently have a set of Winner's Choice on my Hoyt Protec. They have been great. I'm planning to try some Bucknasty (Gibblet) strings in the near future, which have a great reputation. Have had trouble reaching him by phone. Hopefully this next week . . . .

Go with Gibblet strings. You can get whatever colors you want and the price is unbeatable for what you get. They are like $60 and blow most aftermarket strings away. They are prestretched so they wont need any breaking in time. Plus he has awesome customer service. If your string/cable starts coming apart he takes care of it.

Well, I got in touch with Gibblet this afternoon and placed an order. What a personable guy! He not only sets you up with strings and cables, but follows up with accessory serving to tie in your peep as well as matching string loop material.

My only regret is that, at his request, I briefly shared the story of how I got my "Roskoe" nickname. I'm wondering where "Gibblet" and "Bucknasty" came from . . . got to be a good story there.
