Default Back Tension

I was looking at getting a new release and wasn't sure if I should get a thumb or back tension. But lately I'm leaning more towards a back tension.. So i was wondering what back tension you are using and if you could post pictures.
Thanks

My personal opinion, go with a thumb release and learn to shoot it only with back tension as it is suppose to be shot. It will be more versatile.

I am new to thumb trigger releases and just bought one myself (carter chocolate lite). It takes a little practice to get used to the back tension style but I have noticed my groups improving in a short time. I havn't used if for hunting yet but have trouble shooting my other wrist strap releases now because I have gotten used to the freedom of not having anything strapped to me.

Rob, I have and still am thinking about that but like I said the pure back tension releases are on my mind allot lately and i like the idea of it more. I want to try both but I want to get ideas which back tensions people are shooting, for thumb releases I already know which ones i want to look at.

I believe you need both a pure bt to learn the feel of true bt and a thumb trigger to shoot if you feel the need.

I love my Carter Fits me Too thumb trigger but I had to learn bt on a pure bt.I used the Tru ball ultra 3 to learn with and have recently (today)picked it back up as my main release due to some of my old target panick setting back in.

This release is very affordable at $60-$70

Currently, I'm doing what TFOX said you should do. I'm shooting a pure BT and a thumb trigger. I'm shooting a Scott Longhorn Pro Advantage BT release. It has a heavy, small, tapered handle and it fits in my hand GREAT. I also have a Carter Just B Cuz, that I plan on hunting with as well.

I don't know if it what you SHOULD do but it is the only way I can maintain good tru bt.

The just b cuz is the exact same release as my fits me too but mine is for smaller hands.
