OK guys.....here goes...

Throught the 80's and into the 90's.....Toyota always had a line of "sporty" cars. The flagship of this line being the Toyota Celica. Somwhere in the mid 80's.....Toyota introduced a line that blew away the Celica in performance and style.

Now....Imagine you were the guy that went into the dealership in say 1984 and wanted their baddest, fastest ride......and they sold you a Celica. Now imagine what you'd feel like in October.....when they introduced the new Supra.

Now....Imagine you're Dan (Wash Hunter).....and you're standing there with your Celic......I mean....your Allegiance......and the 82nd is introduced.

It was a joke.[&:]
I totally understand I was pokin fun with my little smiley! Its all good! I still think the celica was better built though! Thats why the supra didn't make it long![:-]

Shows my age Jeff, I got that.

The 82nd isnt' for everyone, that's why all manufacturers are making bows and selling bows. WH(Dan) loves his Ally, I can say I don't blame him, I love my Ally too but the more I shoot the 82nd, the more I'm realizing the Ally is going out the door. The 82nd is obviously faster. I'm shooting the same arrow 22 fps faster out of of the 82nd. What does that mean? Speed isn't everything however, now I'm still shooting that same arrow slightly faster out of the 82nd at 62lbs than the Ally at 70lbs. That in itself is wonderful.

The other thing I notice when shooting them back to back, the Ally is noticably louder and has more hand shock. Not much but slightly more. I'd still buy the Ally in a minute and I'm still hard pressed to sell it but the more I shoot the General, 82nd and others, the more I'm considering selling the Ally to some lucky individual.

This is what I gather From what I am reading. Faster means a better bow an in returnyou willget that big BUCK you have been chasing closer to you while you are in your stand waiting on him. I can not afford one will have to wait on that buck the old fashion way.

Just kidding settle down!

I shot them both indoors with three other people standing right next to me, no they weren't shop employees, and everybody agreed the 82nd. was more quiet.

I feel sorry for you. The wait will be soooooo long..............maybe forever. All the people shooting 82nds will get all the big BUCKS...............really fast.

I can't wait for mine to show up.

I thought about this one too but it's so long!! i think a shorter bow would be better for hunting. But thats just my opinion... you have to shoot what feels best for you!!!!i'm checking out the new high countyr speed force.. i have an old high country safari and love it.. but it's like 14 years old and time to upgrade...
