Waterproof Clothing?

I have the Gander Mountain Guide Series set, jacket and pants. It is light not real heavy but good for spring and fall, breathable, very comfortable and waterproof. No it's not plastic.

I use Gore Tex - parka, bibs, and boots - for a general purpose outer shell. Layers of polar fleece underneath. I have hunted in a four hour downpour in comfort. Out here, when it rains, it usually is pretty cold as well.

I have the Sitka gear 90% jacket and it does a very good job in all but hard rains.I am going to treat mine with Nikwax to see if I can make it closer to water proof than water resistant.
There is no perfect rain gear if it is waterproof it is not going to breath very well,if it is water resistant it will wet through in a sustained hard rain.
Rain gear doesn't have to be as quiet as other camoflage,if it is raining an animals sense of hearing is going to be as distorted as ours is.If sitka gears rain gear is ever deeply discounted I will buy it,a set goes for about $450.In the mean time 90% jacket for all but the continuous hard rain.Paclite gortex for the hard rain,or Dutch Harbor Winslow rain gear which is the softest quietest stuff I have found to date.It wont breathe but if you layer correctly underneath you will be all right.
