GMMAT--it seems to me sometimes that people are just happy to have what they have and don't want to rock the boat in fear that they will lose something....people need to pursue things that are rightful and just, no matter what. And this Sunday hunting ban thing is just wrong, on many levels.

The Bible belt brothers.... I am a Christian and I probably wouldn't hunt on Sunday's b/c of Church and family, but I see no problem with hunting on Sunday. If had a little extra time on a Sunday, yeh I would hunt, I feel I couldn't be any closer to the Lord than in a tree. Fred Bear said that being in a tree puts us that much closer to GOD.

It's religious discrimination in my book....and I can't believe someone hasn't challenged it on those grounds.

Now, without getting theological, isn't the sabbath supposed to be a day of rest, recouperation? And isn't hunting JUST that??? ESPECIALLY for the weekend warrior guys that only get out on the weekend??? I personally think it's total hogwash, and while I'm not familiar w/ the state or anything else, I would be welling to bet a doughnut or two that money is involved SOMEWHERE along the line.....

You guys make good points about religious freedom.
However, I think the real issue is about landowner rights on PRIVATE property. To me, that argument has the best chance of holding up in court.
