Paper tune question
#1
When I bought my X force this year the bow shop put a laser tune on my bow, I asked about paper tuning it, they said I did not need too. Is this right?? I would feel better paper tuning it, but they said I didn't need too???

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS PAPER TUNE. MY BUDDIES X-FORCE WAS A GOOD BIT OFF AFTER LASER TUNING. BUT IT'S AS SMOOTH AS EVER NOW. I KNOW A PROBLEM WE HAD WITH HIS, WAS USING NOT STIFF ENOUGH ARROWS. ONCE HE SWITCH TO A STIFFER SPINE, BULLET HOLES THROUGH PAPER. WE CHRON... HIS AT 325 @ 29IN DRAW AND 394 GRAIN ARROW I THINK. STILL REALLY FAST. NOT TOO MANY BOWS WILL SHOOT THAT FAST WITH A HEAVY ARROW. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL

I don't know much about tuning..like I said, I am learning ( a lot) but where I Bought my bow (will not mention Gander Mountains name), the "pro" there set my bow up and told me it perfect, good to go.... I went a week later to my local bow shop and the owner there looked at my set up, smiled, sighed, and than made a bunch of adjustments to get me straight again. Seems there are so called professionals out there that don't know a whole lot more than I do, but because they have a "Name Tag" on the average guy would assume things are right. As for me....I am done assuming and also done with G.M. JMO.
