Ihave a summit cobra xls and id like to put a bow holder of some sort on it, looking through the cabelas site and reading their reviews its a tough decision they dosnt appear to be many options and the options I can find dont have very good reviews. So what do ya'll ue and how do you like it?

I have a bow holder on my API Bowhunter, came from walmart not very expensive or anything pretty simple, the first time bowhunting this year, I havent hunted at all in 2 years. I got in the stand and barely touched the bow and there it went, it was very cold and i had left my stand in the mountains it was froze as i was after about an hour. After that i just use my EZ Hanger, works great i can put my pack if i take one plus my bow, only trouble is that if i have to get in my pack it takes more movement if its hung high and if its low its harder to get the bow with less movement.

I use a Easy hanger as well....screws into the tree super easy.

I used to have a generic two prong thingy that worked just fine with my Darton. NOW, with the Guardian... a.k.a. parallel limb bow, I have NONE. I can not find a holder for a parallel limb bow that works. They just don't make one.

I have the one Summit sells for their stands, but I rarely use it. I'm a big fan of the long bow arm....holds my bow right in front of me, easy to reach, minimal movement.

I believe I have the Hunters View or Big Gamebow holder,it screws into the tree and folds in half, you can swing it out as far as you want to and the hooked end has rubber all along it to keep the metal bow from clanging and making any noise!I have used the smaller screw-in holders and they tend to lean the bow too close to the tree and aren't as user friendly as the hangers that hold a bow further out.
