When I got up at 4:30 this morning, it was zero degrees outside. They are forecasting a high of 5 degrees with windchills at -20 to -30 degrees. Tonight it is supposed to drop to a -2 degrees.

This is normal weather for Minnnesota, not southern Iowa. I am not very happy that Minnesota sent their cold down here and I want all you Minnesotans or Minnewegians, whichever you prefer, to come and take this crap back! Oofta! That's too cold for dem dere old Iowegians don't ya know!

She's a cold one this morning! -15 below this morning AF Hunter, sorry about the cold temps were giving ya!! My wood stove is eating wood up like you wouldn't believe.

I wish I had a wood stove! I will when I build my man cave. Right now I have to keep refilling the kerosene heater in the garage (which presently is also my testosterone room). Just got back from town where I spent $100 on 26 gallons of kerosene.

Better make another pot of chilli.

Had some of that dern chili last night. It was quite a bit spicier when I passed it back out this morning! lol I had it with some garlic cheese bread last night and was quite pleased with the overall dinner. My wife, who has a cast iron stomach, added jalepenos to the chili last night to make it warm enough for her.

I know what you mean about that stuff. I try not to eat any right before I have to take a long ride in the car.
