I was curious to whether you aim higher or lower to get a good shot on a deer when you are in a stand. I'm guessing higher but i'm not sure. I know what I have to do is practice but there is no where in my yard to do so. I think i'm gonna go to my buddys house because i have to practice shootin. Thanks

You want to aim low for two reasons. You hit higher off the treestand than you do off the ground. And a deer will jump your string and make you miss high or hit high. But I sight in my bow in my backyard from a treestand and then I aim where I want to hit and I good to go! Good luck

Aim lower in trees because your arrow will hit higher. Gravity affects your arrow more on level shots than shooting downward. If you hunt from trees you should practice shooting from trees.

LOWER - BE SURE TO SHOOTING FROM A ELEVATED DECK , OR ON A HILLSIDE OR TREESTAND BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY HUNT. I HAVE SHOT FROM MY GARAGE ROOF. BEND AT THE WAIST TO KEEP THE ANGLE BETWEEN ARM AND CHEST CONSTANT. RATHER THAN DROPPING THE ARM TO A DIFFERENT ANGLE THAN NORMAL SHOOTING POSTION.

I shoot the same as ground level up to 25 yards, anything past that I aim lower.
