Who is welcome here?

So if there is no new posts in the deer hunting forum and there are several new post about general deer hunting in the bowhunting forum am I welcome to post on them as a gun hunter? What about starting a new post on general deer hunting in the bowhunting forum if I am a gun hunter?
It seems that bowhunters are able to post new threads in the deer hunting forum asking about general deer hunting (which is thought of as a gun hunting forum by the admins), but the reverse would not be true?

I will post a general question here because this is where I hang out and I know the folks here (for the most part). If I hung out on theother forum more I'd ask it there.
I say, if it's obvious, then move it, if it's not, what the hell is the harm??
Seems kinda "nit picky" to me.

You're going to get general deer questions askedin BOTH forums by their regular members. I think they do this because over time they have gotten to know some of the members and value their opinions. Posting a general question on a forum you don't visit and don't know the folks, you can't be sure the information your getting is reliable or accurate..make sense?

Smells like Cabin Fever.
I <3 the off season.

Not to like... suck up or anything... but the mods and administrators who run HNI do a pretty damn good job at keeping this place running smoothly. It isn't our place to question why they do the things they do. They're in their positions for a reason and we should be thanking them rather than nit-picking and questioning every little thing theydo [or don't do.] Just my opinion...

This is a pointless thread!!!!!!!!
again not saying it is or isn't because i don't have the numbers or are on the back side of the software to look at the numbers...but from a members stand point it appears that way to me.

I don't know what tell you guys. The forums aren't perfect. They've been added to here and there and there's really no way to make them both specific and all encompassing.
The deer forum isn't just gun hunting, but this forum isn't just deer hunting with a bow. Some posts get moved, some don't. Many that don't get moved are just over-looked or borderline on/off topic. Sometimes posts get left just because people are having fun with it and it seems harmless enough.
I think you're being a little too sensitive if you think there is a bunch of cronyism behind what gets moved or deleted. (a little, maybe...)

npaden, your not missing much, its the same thing over, and over and over and over again until it makes no sense so a new thread is started so the same thing can be talked about over and over and over again! Some of Quicksilvers threads are starting to make sense![8D]
