Who is welcome here?

This was posted inthe earlier thread on who is allowed by a moderator who is now and administrator.

We can't get them all. Some are "bowhunting" related because of the species we hunt. Should we move ALL deer related questions to the Deer Hunting Forum. I consider that a gun hunting forum.

Again, for me, the name beside the post has no bearing on my decision to move or not move a thread.

No names please (my personal favorite, 12 pages and still going) Justin and Christine allowed it, who can argue with them. And it's bawanjim, I've moved his threads before. It's bowhunting forum related.

Would you buy two flash cameras or one no flash camera 125py, not a boys club guy, might be better suited in the camera forum, didn't get moved OMG better call the president.
How much do you guys work out a week First paragraph talks about bowhunters being usually more fit, very bowhunting related.
Euro mount help Could be fitting for the taxi forum. I've moved these before. I've moved BigJ's threads. He doesn't scare me. LOL
Rack growth over the years Again, discussing our quarry.
Land websites Scouting isn't bowhunting related? I think it is.
Wool/wool blend parka Brand new member, bowhunting clothign related, what's the issue here?

This one has me stumped, age it A touch at humor, geesh we shouldn't allow it. It is bowhunting though isn't it. SHould all deer questions go to the deer hunting forum? Again.
Rack growth over the years Same.
Man cave ideas (another great one) VAbowman, fairly new, no guys club here. I've moved his before.
Measuring a rack at home. Second of a two part series (and up to 7 pages) A great informative post, very bowhunting contest related as well as bowhunting in general, same again.
North vs. South Bowhunting in the North vs South not bowhunting related?

The general deer hunting forum has about 10% of the posts that the "bowhunting" forum has. I've been reading posts here in the bowhunting forum that apply to deer hunting because the other forum is so slow. I'm not sure how aging a deer is a special skill that only bowhunters should know and why it belongs in the bowhunting forum. Same with european mounting, looking for land, etc..

If the general deer hunting forum is looked on as a gun hunting forum, why isn't it renamed?

Ask to become a MOD;)
In the scheme of life does it really matter? Are you going to loose sleep? Are children not going to get food?

I am member at MS forum and have threads deleted and moved all the time. They are very strict. I don't care, one's here that have been moved, I don't care;)

I simple just skip over threads, is it really that hard[&:]

RE: Who is welcome here?

It just seems to me that the deer hunting forum is a step child.

I really like the take quality photos thread but it is only for bow hunters. I feel like I was one of the ones that helped get the "New Contest" started with some of my comments on that thread but I couldn't submit any photos in the contest because I am one of those dreaded gun hunters who is obviously less fit than a bow hunter.

The deer hunting gun contest was a joke this year with no help from any moderators in posting stickies and helping out other than deleting some of the original posts by the person running the contest.

I can accept it if the gun hunters are step children, but don't pretend, just change the name of that forum to gun hunter slobs or something like that and we will deal with it. To have a forum for deer hunting when there are more topics on the subject in the bowhunting forum than the deer hunting forum seems wrong to me.

RE: Who is welcome here?

I honestly don't care if my posts get moved. Sometimes I forget the rules and they do get moved, not upset.. It's just the rules and sometimes my posts are borderline so they stay, I really don't see anything wrong with posting any hunting topic on here, or any related topic. But, the mods can move em if they want, that's their job.
