Neither here, lol. I know the basics of both but have a loooonnnggg way to go in both areas as well. Like someone else stated, i can set up my rest and simple stuff like that, but anything on the string and im in a shop. Bow presses are too much anyway[8D]

Equipment for sure...It's much more straight forward to me than pursuing deer...I still have quite a few years before I'll feel like I know what I'm doing out in the woods.

Equipment. I'm not even that knowledgable in that department. I'm learning a lot more (especially in the last year) about the draw force curve, KE/Spine/Arrow weight relationships, tuning techniques, etc. I really want to learn to do string/cable work on my bow and not limit myself to just putting accessories on. I want to take my bow to someone and have them actually TEACH me, properly pressing a bow, putting in peeps, tying serving it, splitting cables, installing new strings/cables, etc.

i like to tinker with things...i cant do ALL my own bow work as of yet, but plan to become a do it yourselfer and buy the tools and press etc...

i tune my own bows...use the shop to get my paper tune..then go home and fine tune...i can handle the basics thus far...tying my own loops, tuning, sights, etc...and understand some of it...i can broadhead tune my bow and not have trouble doing it for the most part...

more than some guys i know...they just simply know how to shoot...when it comes time for broadheads they simply move their sights...

the game im after, i know enough to hunt them and see them somewhat regularly...but am always trying to learn more about deer...

for some reason, i enjoy learning about things i enjoy...you can preach to me all day in a class room and if im not interested, i may never catch a word you say....you talk to me about bows or deer or coon dogs, etc im all ears and taking notes...just the way i am....enjoy learning and think you can never learn/know too much....always room to learn more
