Best archery season for sure, killed my first two deer with a bow.

My archery season has sucked. Still not over though. My gun season was pretty awesome. I took my biggest buck and got to take a couple kids out hunting. Both had shot opertunities at bucks, but something happened both times.

Very cool year though.

Not sure I could pick one as my "best"................I have had so many great years for so many different reasons.

Dont get me wrong, it was a good season, but not my best.

I had a good season in the sense that I got to hunt many days for whitetail as well as a mule deer hunt in Colorado and an elk huntin New Mexico.

I had a good season in the fact that I went 7 for 7 on whitetails.

I had a good season in the fact that I didn't fall from a tree.

But my "Best Season"? I hope it is still to comemany many years down the road.

Tagged out however, No this was not my best season. It was great, not the best.

It wasnt my best by any means. I harvested 5 does and one turkey. I didnt get a buck with my bow but passed on some dandies. I do have to admit my wife did a heck of a job this year. This was her first year hunting anything and she has 3 down with her bow. Two does and a nice 7pt.

I did take my biggest buck this year, with the rifle. Saw a nice 8 point while bowhunting, took a doe with the bow, took a squirrel, saw plenty of deer but there were no bigones in range. It was a good one that is for sure, bu ti dont know if it is the best.

this by far the worst season i've had at gun and bow and i hope it's my last , still not over it.
