video cameras
I am looking to purchasea video camera to video some hunts. My 9 year old son shot his first two deer this year and i wish i had them on video. His second deer was in a blind and he got exicited and did not hold pressure agaisnt his shoulder andthe shot knocked him off of the bucket he was sitting on that would have been great to catch on video. We will always have the great memory but to be able to catch it on video and to watch it over and over would be nice. If anybody has any suggestions i would appreciate them. Enjoy the outdoors and pass it on to our future.

RE: video cameras
It all depends on how much money you want to spend. I think for what you want I would look for a Cannon GL1 which is a professional grade camera. I would checkebay they are going anywhere from $900-1200. You might even be able to find one cheaper than that.

Ihave a Hitachi DVD Cam, its really nice with a lot of zoom, and all you have to do is take the dvd out of the camera and pop it into your dvd player. No converting or hooking up wires needed. It was like 400 when we got it, now they have them for like less than $300.
