What are some of the things that you haven't experienced while hunting. Those things that you always read about or see but have never had first hand experience with in the woods. For me I've never had or even presented with an opportunity if I needed/wanted one a second shot at a deer with my bow. I've heard tons of stories over the years about shooting a second arrow at a deer. I sit in my stand and wonder how the heck that happens [8D]. Every deer I've shot in my 20 years with a bow would not have given me a second opportunity.

I've never had a deer show up while mother nature was calling.

I have never seen true rutting activity......this ismy first full year hunting, was out the whole rut period and neversaw any kind of activity. I saw more than enough deer during this time but no chasing, grunting, sparing...etc

I haven't seen a deer making a rub.

I've seen most everything else I read about. I "heard" one making a rub, in PA....but didn't see it.

I've also never seen a deer in NC in the wild that would go over 106". I'd like to see a big deer in the wild.

I have never seen a 140" deer in the wild. I would probably wet my pants if I did, so it's all good.

I've gotten second shots, actually killed one with a second shot once, first deer I ever shot with my bow just stood there after jumping, then walked off blood pouring out.

Never seen a deer duck an arrow
Never seen a fight (heard one once and convinced me I don't make enough noise rattling)
Never seen one scrape or rub
Never seen a buck in velvet except during summer
Never gotten a shot off at a monster, had two chances, one a squek from my boot saved him the other his 6th sense did the job, to this day I don't know how he knew I was there.
