RE: what state would you pick
ORIGINAL: Germ ORIGINAL: rybohunter Well since you included fishing…..That makes it a bit more difficult. The main things I would look at are: species diversity quality of their wildlife management system (which includes seasons & bag limits) Quality of the trout & smallmouth bass fishing Some states in the running would be Idaho-incredible species diversity & absolutely beautiful Montana-self explanatory Ohio-great deer and close to home but not sure about the fishing Missouri- good deer/turkeys & smallmouth PA- lacking in deer quality, but if I had enough land to manage I could deal with it. Excellent trout & smallmouth fishing

RE: what state would you pick
Texas Hill Country. Lots of deer, turkey and hogs, good bird hunting and big bass. Fishing and something to hunt year round.

RE: what state would you pick
Alaska hands down. But I would keep a second home in Colorado.

What is this, a LOCATION thread.;)[8D]
Wow, so many states to pick and it really depends on the species. I'd love a spot with plenty of elk, whitetail, mule deer, pronghorn, black bear, turkeys etc...sorta narrows it. :D |
RE: what state would you pick
