Wisconsin, Minnesota, The UP of Michigan, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta etc.... I would be Bowhunting or Rifle hunting which ever lets me hunt! I really like the Big Woods hunting style with snow on the ground and the temps COLD! I like the big woods because you never know what's just around the corner!!!!! I would think fishing is excellent in all these places as well!:)

CA...can't bait but i can hunt archery from middle of July until the begining of November....no rut...but lots and lots of hunting...LOL

My bro comes out from NM every fall to bow hunt MD, so much more opertunity here.

Lets see:
Deer hunt sept 15 - Jan 31, unlimited Whitetail with Bow, Did I say unlimited ? (I can deer hunt every single day sept 15 -Jan 31, except some Sundays)
I could never live in a Western state where You are allowed 1 or 2 animals all year, I hunt 3-4 times a week Sept through Jan, just a way of life in the fall.

Summer I am in My Kayak catching fish in the Bay/tributaries or in western MD catching smallmouth and cooking a few over a campfire riverside.

I will give the north west the edge on Scenery though, did a pack trip in Wy, breathtaking.
