Default Michigan hunting?

My mom's job is moving to MI, and it looks like we will all be moving there this coming summer. Her job is probably going to be near Lansing and we are looking to live south of Lansing a little ways. I was wondering how the whitetail hunting is South of Lansing? Is there any good public land there? My dad is also talking about leasing some land if we do end up moving. thanks

MI has more public land than any other state, we also have the second most hunters

Send me your email and i will set you up with where the public is, and who to contact for a lease.

Southern Michigan has come into its own for a lot of deer and big bucks. Great area with acres and acres of state land to hunt! Good luck with the move! Enjoy Michigan!!!!!!!!!!!
