Many will not agree, but for me it would be my leupold rx II rangefinder...i suck at estimating yardages.

Lone Wolf Alpha tree stand w climbing sticks! Simply the best piece of gear I have bought since my Bowtech! I have 2 climbers and used them once in 3 years that I've owned the Lone Wolf. Super lightweight and simple to hang!

There are several, mostly clothing related.Patagonia micro puff pullover, the lightest warmest compressible piece I have ever seen, smart wool or Ulfrotte long underwear,Enigma jacket and pants, unbelievable how soft the fabric becomes with washing,Danner Canadian boots,Icebreaker hand muff with acouple of handwarmers in it nothing will keep your hands warmer.
I still have an old Bushnell rangefinder that doesn't owe me a dime and has helped me immensely.I am sure there are others.

RE: What's the BEST piece of Equpt. You've bought?

mmmmmm... GMMAT's oponion of worst piece of equip:

Everyone has their opinion.....and mine is the Lone Wolf Alpha stand and climbing sticks as a hunt right away set-up.

I used mine exactly twice....and could never figure out a way to hang it safely.....timely....or energy efficiently (without working up a big sweat). I MUCH prefer a climber (Summit Vipers) to this set-up....and I was terribly disappointed in the system.
Bowhuntingfool opinion of best piece of equip.

It's a personal preferece, Aaron. I can understand how some would love the setup. For a multiple stand setup.....where a hunter would have extra straps hung on several trees....and to leave the steps up....I think it would be great.

For ME....to set it up and use it, right then....I hated it. It's just an opinion. It's a well-made product....and a lot of people love it.

Diesel:

I have one and love it, too. Robpicked it upfor me when I hunted with him in PA. I LOVE the way I think yours attaches better than mine, though. Mine has three or four "Ribbons" that go aroun the tree. Yours looks to have one buckle.

Long story short.....lol.....Who makes the one you have pictured? It looks great.

People might knock me for this but, the Heater Body Suit....man the thing will keep you warm on 20 degree days with 20-30 mph winds....I don't buy much anymore besides arrows, but thatHeater BodySuit is just fantastic! Keeps you from having to wear tons of layers and from having to lug in loads of clothes...best thing I have bought in 10 years.

Good customer service from Knight rifles. Had a problem and all I had to do was box it and hand it the the shipping service they sent over. They went completely through it and returned it in excelent condition. They didn't just fix what was wrong, they went through the whole thing and fix what ever they thought needed it. What ever they thought would irritate them had the rifle been their own.[8D]

A rangefinder. I managed to find a Leica CRF 1200 for 250$ cheaper than from the store and it had been only used once. The guy was red/green color blind and couldn't see the display.

Realtree EZ hanger. I never used one much in years past, but after getting more serious about bowhunting and using hang on tree stands more, it is a must. I carry two with me all the time in the woods. I know its not al to gether hunting related as I am not sure if they come in camo, but another "outdoor product" that I absolutely love is my insulated bibs made by Rocky. Waterproof and insulated all the way up, they are great for cutting wood, riding the quad, and just about everything when it's cold. For a cold weather hat, Filson's merino wool skull cap is great too.

I can't really give you a report. I bought one last year, but it wasn't cold enough for me to use it. Everyone who has used them usually raves about them, however. Good luck.
