My rangefinder and limbsavers, best money I ever spent.

That umbrella thing doesn't look it would work very well. in Michigan when it rains the wind is usually blowing, sideways sometimes;). Maybe if it was sprinkling, but not raining.

I also agree. I have eliminated so many areas and found new ones without ever leaving the house. Google earth and others really put the game in the hunters favor.

Dang, there's going to be some hell to pay the day Rob whacks that big one. We're going to have to find someone else to jab at. LOL Why don't you make a pilgrimage up and hunt with Rick James or Duke or someone in big buck country and get this monkey off your back. LOL

Where you get that one at Diesel
Got it at Bass Pro. Its Hunter Specialties model, seriously, this things is awesome. I also had the one with the 6 ribbons that snapped onto the umbrella, that worked good but all those ribbon ties were a pain.

LOL if you think it only rains hard with wind in Michigan I have some crazy news for you Paul. I do see how you could thinkit wouldnt work wellwhen its raining sideways in Michigan, but It works much better than you think even when its raining with high wind. Id rather have my legs wet than my head and chest any day when its raining sideways, 90% of my rain hunts I stayed dry.

Honestly, one of the best pieces of equipment I've used is called a "Huntin' Hoist". It has a handy clip that attaches to your bow and lets you pull it up into the tree. The cord automatically retracts into the unit, and I keep it clipped onto my backpack strap. No tangled cords or anything. Worth it's weight in gold, in my book!!

The Schrade 141OT! Simply the best knife that I've ever owned! Dressed out several deer without sharpening.... the knife just holds an edge like no other I've used. Also has a rubber no slip grip, which is real nice for those messy jobs!

I would also have to include my swiss army knife. The one that I have has a small saw with a curved head(no point)which I always use to cut through the pelvic bone. Not having a pointed end on the sawreduces the chance of busting the urine sac, and it goes through bone like butter!

Helle Nying. Great little knife. Grip feels kinda wierd at first, but it's really pretty comfortable when you're using it.

For me it is my ASAT 3D leafy suit. I goes on over everything and even though I keep buying camo I find that when I really want to be hidden that is going on over whatever I am wearing.

Not sure who made it anymore, but the wrench for tree steps. I certainly don't miss beating on those steps with my hand. The wrench makes it easy on some of the hardwoods around home.
