Sure.

These are two terms routinely bestowed upon deer after killing them. The first is attached to a buck a hunter is proud to have harvested. The second is attached to one a hunter is not so proud he shot. The latter is sometimes accompanied by other terms such as "cull" and "that guy's deer".

Yeah, and I've been hunting for 38 years too, but evidentally have fallen behind on the lingo. I guess the folks I hunt with use somewhat more traditional terms like buck, doe, spike, etc that are descriptive rather than judgemental.:eek:

I just got knocked out of the Fantasy Football playoffs last night becausestupid ass Roddy White can't catch aseam route, and decides he'd rather try to draw a pass interference penalty. 20 more yards, and I would've finished in the money.

Oh yeah, I'm bitter today. [>:] The deer are lucky that hunting season is over - or I'd have burned my last off-day and it would've been a holocaust.

Do you root against your home town team if you have player on your fantasy team who are playing them? If you truly cared about your fantasy players you would sabotage your cities team to help them gain more points. Don't just say you root for them to do good, help them out.

Yes, I was pulling hard for Derek Anderson all season long - even when he played the Steelers. If I could think of a way to sabotage the Steelersdefensive backfield when the Browns came totown- I'dhave doneit.

Yep one of them is a Springfield 03A3 (Smith Corona) and the other is an M1 Garand. I have several more 03's some older Springfield 03A1's and other 03A3's as well as a couple more M1's, an M1 Carbine....Oh I could go on and on but this is a the wrong thread to be talking about guns.:D:D

What was the point of this thread? To get a bowhunter vs gun hunter flame war going?

We are all in this together. I wish all hunters good luck and a successful season. If that means one or more of "my" bucks goes down, so be it. I hope there's plenty for next year, of course, but not necessarily at the expense of my fellow hunters. .

There was no acceptable choice in your poll. The closest would be the one about hoping they all tag out but we all know that's ridiculous. If EVERY hunter tagged out, there would be no deer for next season.

Another choice should have been: The woods and the deer are there for all of us hunting brothers and I wish them all a successful season whether that means a kill or not.

I love da Bears, period. I could never root against them.

That being said, I certainly wouldn't mind my fantasy players having a big game against them... As long as the Bears win. That's my first and foremost desire.
