You think THIS # is high. Price out what you're paying for "marital favors" and get back with me.

It only costs me what it costs for processing. The rest I'm going to be buying/doing anyway so I might as well utilize the meat. My Dad hunts and doesn't even eat the meat, he donates it to Hunters for the Hungry (or me if I need it). So the cost of hunting is irrelevant to the cost of the meat.

Not muck at all. I've been using the same recurve for 10 years now, paid 300.00 for it. 150.00 in gas a year. Adozen arrows every 4 years. My snuffer heads i use over againafter shooting an animal and if i can't there 30.00 for a pack of 6.About .90 cents a pound.

I've got some buddies that would be a LOT better off if they'd justfound the first woman they met that they hated.....and bought her a house.

This just seems silly to me.

If all I was interested inwas getting some good tasting meat I would just go buy a side of beef (I'll take a ribeye beef steak over venison any day of the week).

I don't think I could put a price on theENJOYMENT that I get from hunting but I do eat what I kill.

People spend tons of money on other hobbies like golf and that doesn't put ANY food on the table last timeI checked.
