How many arrows do you take hunting?

I'll pack at least 6, but not more than 8. I'll have 3 or 4 set with broadheads, the rest with field points. I don't shoot at squirrels or anything like that, but when things are quiet I will use a field point arrow to confirm range at an old rotted stump or a big piece of fungus on a fallen/rotted tree. I've only lost one of these "confirmation" arrows, but it does boost my confidence on my shooting limits.

Unless you have quite the hike back to a base camp,
four seems to be the max needed for a day trip.
Can you figure a situation when you need four or worst more except
away from a base camp?

quiver holds 4, it goes full... i never go out with any weapon that i don't have an abundance of ammo for... one of these days i'll get a hip quiver to pack the rest with and hang on the tree, just in case...
