I'm just sick of watching this crap even though its hard not to. These people pretending to be god's gift to the outdoors. Making bad shots and acting like it was perfect with a fist pump. Baiting animals and theninsistingthatits normal tosee that many deer every time they hunt, without showing the feeder. Worse yet, the top dogs of the business, shooting tame deer raised on a farm until their 4 years old then purchased and releasedto be hunted,blows my mind!(Why do you think they have names for most of them?) Rumor is that a certainchallenge(?) (think soup) held earlier this season in southern Illinois, and reported widely on this website, purchases deer to be shot by contestants. Congratulations! Which show or "hunting celebrities" are you referring to? I know that some shows have some pretty suspect material in the interest of satisfying sponsors, but others do a pretty good job.

I'm curious as to which ones you have issue with.

The Campbell's challenge purchases deer for it's hunting properties??!

HAAHHAHAAhahaha! Sorry, but if you're going to spread rumors, you'd better have something to back it up.

The properties hunted by Campbell's Whitetails are just regular pieces of hunting ground. No fences.They're not connected and not neccessarily all that big. In fact, one of the two spots Justin and I hunted had cows from the neighboring farm break loose from thier pasture and invade our wooded tract and pushed the deer away.

Our other spot was a river bottom. Yep, there would be no bucks on an Illinois river bottom unless they were stocked. :eek::eek: (they have to do somethingto feedall those cougars and rattlesnakes being dropped from helicopters by the DNR)

You want to bitch and whine about baiting or bad shots. Go ahead.
Making stuff up about folks shooting tame deer is entirely something else.

I miss the Practical Sportsmen Fred Troust, you know the Guy who took on the sent industries and they sued him because he was right... any how for the most part his shows were of the everyday hunter. We have lost that and him RIP Fred. for the record I would like to see these host's on my elk hunt LOL.I have had many a brag-it's go in and head right back out a day or two into the hunt its a lot harder when you don't have a guide to do your work. there are a fewthat might make it up there but I don't think most of them have ever packed there own horse or packed in a camp for that matter. The true experts are the guy's off the camera " the Guide " . what I would like to see is a reality hunt show that goes from camp to camp and Reports on there hunts and all the crazy unedited stuff in between. Or aprogram that follows a guide threw his seasons and the people he guides will make for good enough entertainment. Well thats my two cents and can I get some Popcorn too:D

I watched outdoor TV last night and saw the Drury reality show, forgot its name, I thought it stunk! One of the gals couldn't get her face to the scope on her muzzle loader so she couldn't shoot. She flat out missed an easy shot the day before. It was horrible.

Then an hour later I saw the Drurys regular show and it was pretty good. Most that I see are quite lame. I don't watch them much, just once in a while in case there's a good one.
