Think about how you want your lighting. I took the advice of a buddy and used regular high hats instead of Fluorescent and I think it makes a big difference. Also look into wall sconces to give different subtle accents. A lot of the time I just put on the wall sconces and not the overhead lighting. Softer look and it feels less "basementy".
Just my opinion but fluorescent gives off a cold light vs. putting regular high hats on dimmers.
Good luck.

I'll get some measurements.
I have the walls covered. One will be from my College Baseball. One will be from myPGA days. One will be the fridge/bar area. One will be the new TV/etc...
I'll measure the ceiling height, too....but the "Roof" is the bottom of my floor joists
.
I'll get the measurements and post in a minute.

This may not be for everyone, but at my college house we have a stripper pole. It was a great investment for us as it has provided a great deal of entertainment. I have some pictures, but i believe they are probably not acceptable. Some of the racks would probably gross 170-180.

I played 3B and catcher for East Tennessee State Univ. in '83. 10 of us transferred out (5 were drafted)after my freshman season (coach resigned) and I transferred to Wingate College (NAIA...and I didn't have to sit out a yr) and finished, there....logging 133 games behind the plate, there.

That is pretty neat. I hope I can make it somewhere. I threw 82 as a sophomore. This year as a junior I have not thrown because of my shoulder. Hopefully by next year I will have everything worked out and throwing again.

I have a basement that i am making like a hunting room and i am going to put some rusted tin for my roof. i think that will be cool and its cheap (free if you know someone that needs an old barn tore down) and I have ceadar on one of my walls and it looks cool now all i got to do is finish the wood and get the roof on it.
