where do you gut your deer

OK any you get a nice deer 40 yards out down a traveled area you make a perfect shot he goes 40 yards down the well used trail then 10 off of it
do you gut 40 yards from your stand and 10 yards off of a well used trail or drag the deer back to your truck out of your hunting area
does the guts bother the other day like a warning or does it mean nothing

Same here, gut them where they drop. I'm not dragging any more weight than I have to
.
Other deer could care less. Death is an every day part of life for them. I have had deer watch me while I gut one their buddies.
