What did you learn this season?

RE: What did you learn this season?
I have learned to shoot a field pointarrow into the ground when first on your stand. Found a large tree limb behind me on my right that hindered my arm from coming back to full draw. This was on a stand that wasn't mine, but a friend of mine put me on that stand when I was hunting at his place. He's left handed.

When you have a game plan for the season.. STICK TO IT! Don't break the plan early on just because your dying to take a buck.. or hunt a buck for that matter.
Be patient until its time to be aggresive..

You can have more than one chance at a nice buck as long as you put in alot of time. I had three chances at nice deer and missed the first two, but finally conected on my last chance. Also, there are alot more nice bucks out there than what you see but you hardly see them because they have us figured out more than we have them figured out.

Not to use my 40 yard pin on a 20 yard shot.
I switched to a 3-pin sight this year after using a single pin sight set at 20 yards my whole life. I had to act quick on a doe that was spooky. I saw the pin on her and fired...right over her back. I redeemed myself with another doe later that day by makingsure it was the right pin on her.
