Ladderstands?

Another idea, is to do it way we do. Just buy a normal ladder stand and then "modify" it. We pretty much make it like a tower stand on top, with sliding windows, heaters and all the goodies. But, technically its still a ladder stand. Not too expensive, but does take a little work.

Here's some pics of the stands that we built. We did not screw or nail anything into the trees themselves. Instead we used threaded rods on either side and clamped it onto the tree. You need to loosen it as the tree grows.

ive built my own ladder stands before but i made them out of metal.They are real sturdy.its cheaper than buying them but thats cause i have a lot of scrap metal to use
