Bad Luck Confirmed
#1
Well sunday morning I got my confirmation. The big ten pointer i had been after all season was killed by my neighbor the first week of rifle season. And another 12 pointer killed not long after that.
On a good note maybe they will now see the benefits of QDM. Well i know there is still another good pointer out there and now rifle season is over so the woods can quiet down and i can get back to bowhunting.

Sorry to hear it, but i bet there are just as good, if not better deer out there. Remember, during the rut, the bucks will travel far to find hot does. The two bucks I shot this year had never been seen on my land before. Reason I know, my cousin spent all summer/fall scouting and running trail cams to see what kind of deer were moving on my land. He lives closer to my land and asked if he could do it. I said sure, as long ashe let me know what kind of animals have been moving.

It is tough when you don't have a lot of control over the whole range of your deer. Sunday, the neighbor's property sounded like a war zone for the first hour of the hunting day. Not much I can do about that, except minimize the hunting pressure on my land and hope that the deer take haven there.
