RE: 2007 RUT
Not sure if i want to cast a vote on this one yet, ive had some pretty good action, in fact the best ive ever had, but ive only been bowhunting for about 4 years. I'll check it out at the end of the season.

Mine was the best ever! Unfortunately (and I use that word loosly) I killed my buck early in the rut so I wasn't in the woods much when they were chasing and so forth, but even prior to my shooting mine it was awesome.
I saw bucks up cruising late in October (prior to this year, I've rarely see a buck before November), and even a couple of them were mature. Some were in bow range and I elected not to shoot them....I had a great rut this year.....already looking forward to next year.

Not here in Texas yet. Ive tagged two bucks and both were just showing little sign of the rut. Necks were not real swollen, tarsal glands bearly moist, and their racks were smooth and unborken.

I dont know if was slower, but I saw much much less action, and it was very very sporatic compared to normal. Definately one of the worst from a predictable standpoint, but I still have had a great season all in all.
