61) Aggressive scent control (ie no smoking/clothes washed constantly in unscented/rubber boots, etc) 9

2) Rattling 0 early, 9 during rut

3) Calling same as rattling

4) Invading bedding areas 4 early, 8 during rut

5) Fastest Bow--need speed 6

6) Largest broadhead 5

7) Scent trail/drag/tarsal glands,etc 0 early, 7 during rut

8) Camo(no camo is a 1, full symmetric camo is a 10 with face mesh, gloves, etc.) 9

9) Hunting all day( 1 is short hunting maybe 2 hours, 10 is an all day sit--your average hunt length over the season) 8

10) Do you hunt in the rain/wind/elements if necessary? (1 being dry warm conditions only...10 being the roughest weather around---this is not a one time hunt,. rather this is what you would be willing to hunt in for like 1-2 weeks if need be) 6

I began to think the other day if I was a passive or aggressive bowhunter. I started thinking about some areas of bowhunting. I'd like to hear others talk about the list I am going to put below. Sort of a learning thing for me. Scale of 1 to 10...1 being passive meaning you don't really care or won't do, 10 being the most aggressive or things you do like crazy. Just copy and paste the post below and put your score in bold numbers at the end of each item if you wish.

1) Aggressive scent control (ie no smoking/clothes washed constantly in unscented/rubber boots, etc) 5

2) Rattling 7

3) Calling 7

4) Invading bedding areas 5

5) Fastest Bow--need speed 3

6) Largest broadhead 3

7) Scent trail/drag/tarsal glands,etc 2

8) Camo(no camo is a 1, full symmetric camo is a 10 with face mesh, gloves, etc.) 7

9) Hunting all day( 1 is short hunting maybe 2 hours, 10 is an all day sit--your average hunt length over the season) 5

10) Do you hunt in the rain/wind/elements if necessary? (1 being dry warm conditions only...10 being the roughest weather around---this is not a one time hunt,. rather this is what you would be willing to hunt in for like 1-2 weeks if need be) 6

But cold doesn't scare me. I just don't like thunder storms.

Wow GR8---I will give the stats to my wife and let her do it! Nah, if you guys want it I will. I just think it is interesting to see everyone's take on this stuff. I am pretty much passive I think because the deer in my area can be very skiddish. I just like to be like uhhhhh......shadow This year I did however lightly rattle in my first deer....was kind of stange and thrilling!
