You guys all look like kids, IMO.

BTW, I always get a kick out of the stereo-typing in these threads.
Agreed...that's been my point. The bashing is juvenile behavior at best. I'll quit trying to understand it. As for me, I'll shoot what I think is the best bow. Just because I presently shoot a Mathews won't keep me from test driving a Marquis, Airbourne and Firecat this year. To each his own....

What is with all this "mathews guys", "botech shooters" crap?

I AM A HUNTER...who happens to shoot a mathews bow

Making assumptions about who I am based on the type of bow I shoot is ignorance at it's finest

I think the main reason that anyone would rip on another is due to their OWN INSECURITIES IN THEMSELVES OR THE PRODUCT THEY USE...build yourself up by tearing others down

I myself dont give a rats tail what anyone else shoots or care if anyonelikes the bow that I shoot

Some people on here really need to grow up

Is this Huntingnet or Archerytalk with all the bashing

Personally I dont care what the next guy shoots as long as he is shooting and happy with his bow.

It's been almost a week later and this is still going on. It is getting almost to the point of comical.

What have we learned so far?
Mathews is not an innovative company
Bowtechs are not durable

Why are we leaving Hoyt of this?C'mon somone dig some dirt up on them.

I don't have a dog in this fight. I shoot an "off brand" (Pearson). All I know is that I can buy 3 Pearson Stealths for the price of one Mathews DXT or whatever it's called. And I don't think there's that much difference in how they shoot. At least not enough difference to justify spending 3 times as much money.

That's what kills me about Mathews. The prices they get for the technology they put in their bows. Those things shouldn't sell for one dime over $600 if you ask me. The technology is no different from the Diamond bows. Yet they cost $300 to $400 more???

The amazing thing is that people will actually pay over $800-$900for a bare bow because it says "Mathews" on it.

If you want to really scratch your head, pop over to ebay and see what folks will pay for a used MAthews. In alot of cases they pay darn near full retail yet don't get a warranty. I would anti up the extra $50-75.00 bucks to get a warranty bfore paying what they sell for. Great bows but sheesh??????????

So now what are we saying here...they are not worth the money because they hold their value? Last time I checked, that was the definition of worth. Whether it be a Mathews bow or any thing in life, spare me from buying something that is worth little to nothing in a short period of time after purchase.
