NO NO, it don't bother me, I bait as well, Just always been told and experienced that when there is an endless supply of feed, deer will come when they please, which will usually be at night, because there will be no worries about the feed being gone and them needing to get there early to get some.. That's all.. It don't bother me, i was just trying to help thats all... Feed away man...

and i appreciate that. But it seems like Wis needs to reiterate that same fact each time he sees one of my trail cam pics. The main purpose of this apple pile is not to be able to hunt the deer, but to just watch them from the back deck, and to get trail camera pics of them.

I'd bet this deer will have a perfectly normal rack next year. Funky stuff on 1.5 year olds is very very common IMO. He'll probably be a nice basket 8 pointer next year.

As far as baiting goes. If it's legal what's the problem. If you don't like to bait don't bait. If you like to bait then do so. How many here drive 55 on the highway....that's what I thought. You could kill a person by speeding on the highway. Probably not going to kill a person by baiting.

overbaiting combined with human scent is what turns them nocturnal.. again wis, you had to comment on the nocturnal b/s.. having food alone doesnt turn them nocturnal.. but nevermind.. apparently you are the food specialist and nocturnal emissions expert hahahahahaha
