RE: Cleaning up for pictures?
ORIGINAL: gobblegetterNY Hey ya know i dont want to hear the antis whine just as much as the next guy but come on. This is our way of life, things die due to a loss of blood. That blood has got to go somewhere and somtimes it comes out the nose or some other 'holes'. Im not saying that i wont clean my kill up a little bit but im not gonna bust a nut trying to make it look alive still. Just my 2 cents. |
RE: Cleaning up for pictures?
I agree and I clean up the mouth and get the worst of things cleaned up, but I am not going to wash the thing down and spend hours to make it look like it is sleeping instead of what it is, which is dead. Afterall, I am celebrating the fact that I was able to turn a living animal into a dead one. That is the bottom line here isn't it?
In fact, I like being able to tell where the entrance wound is. If I know that it was a good shot, then I know the animal did not suffer. That is more important to me than a tongue hanging out. My final point is that on this website we have posts showing pictures of what certain broadheads to on impact to an animal. Those are helpful to show what broadheads do a better job at causing mass blood loss. Why should those not be allowed on a hunting website? This is a hunting community site. Remember that Political Correctness is the thought that you can pick up a turd by the clean end. |

RE: Cleaning up for pictures?
Also how many non-hunters are coming to this site? I'm not defending the really bad pictures. Like I said I agree with you. But my point is that if the non-hunters and bunny huggers come here then they will find more than bad pictures to be offended by.

RE: Cleaning up for pictures?
simple, the bunny huggers should not be in these sections. I hate the thought of having one set of rules for everyone, if you don't like it stay out.

This has nothing to do with the animal lovers. Clean up your deer and stop being Mr. Toughguy.

RE: Cleaning up for pictures?
Eagleye, you tell me if i don't like it stay out? This is not a rule i said but a suggestion to everyone!!!!! Bunny Huggers won't be in here but i gurantee a bloody looking pic will make it out of here on the internet for everyone else tosee! I didn't say anything about a hole a broadhead put in the animal, i was just talking about the side of a deer covered with blood or a big tounge hanging out! This is one awesome sport we have to enjoy, i'll do anything in my power so that your kids, my kids and the future generation will have the right to do what we are doing now, and thats hunting my friend! Its too bad we have to changeour ways a little but what ever it takes i guess to keep our sport we better start a doing!

Seems to me like you guys are just lazy. If you take pride in harversting deer then taking quality pictures should go hand and hand.
