Congrats on the nice deer. You did a good thing, like everyone has already said.

As the others have said you did what is right. As stewards of the wildlife we hunt, sometimes we have to set aside our own wants to take care of the greater needs of nature.

Congrats and good job.

Nice deer! Good job. ALL deer get 4 "H" measurements per side, even spikes.

I had to do the same thing a few years ago, except it was not done by a car. Some guys shot up a small deer so bad I could not stand to watch it suffer any more. That was my 1st and last rifle hunt.
I know doing the right thing is not always easy, but you’re a better person for it.

130, congrats.....nothing wrong with that deer and there is always next year, just think if your 130 gets through, 150's maybe....you might just be very happy next year. You did the right thing, I say Kudos and RESPECT.

Good for you man, you definitely did the right thing! It speaks volumes more about the kind of sportsman and person you are than shooting a big buck does. You're welcome in my camp any time!

My hat's off to you buddy. We are the stewards of the woods we hunt and you did what all of us shouldn't think twice about doing. It's the right thing to do. Kudos to you for doing it.

Thanks Everybody it was hard for me at first knowing my season was over without one of the bucks that I really wanted to take. This buck would have been a dandy in a couple of years but oh well. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

Congrats! We've (most) all been there. It'll make a nice euro mount.
