Well I scored last night. Not the buck I wanted to take but after I saw him I had to take him He walked in with a broken leg and some road rash. I let him walk past me and I saw he was hurting. By the time I decided to take him he was out of range getting a drink at the pond. So I grunted at him and he came back and I shot him. After the shot I heard a noise off to my left and there stands the buck I had been after. A nice ten point about a 140.

This buck scored 84 2/8 with out the h4 measurement.

I feel a little weird I'm not happy, sad or mad I guess I'm just dissapointed.

Congrats, i would be very proud of that buck broken leg or not. He may have not been the big boy that you were after but should sleep good tonight knowing you did what felt was right. You get some major kudos from me.

You did the right thing. You can feel great about that. Some would have passed on him knowing they were in the wrong.

You make a good call on that. Congrats on the buck, he might not be the biggest...but he's still nice!

You did the right thing. Plus you scored for your team, so it isn't all bad.

Hey congrats. Maybe not the one you wanted....but I commend your decision. At least I get two buck tags. I sure hope you do.

Also....EVERY buck scored gets H4 measurements if I'm not mistaken. Don't sell your team OR your buck short!

I can tell ya....I'd be proud of that deer.
