What day is it? Are there deer in the area? What time of year is it? Is it the rut? Is it public or private land? If I see deer when I'm setting up I'll stay all day... Lunch time comes around and there's no sign, I might leave at lunch. If I spook a deer, I'll probably leave the rest of the day.

This time of year, I sit all day, But you have to have something to keep you ocupied durring the slow times, Some read? Me i listen the weather on my radio when the eyes get heavy, or text some of my buddies. It pay to stay all day, some people just cant do it though.

I try to sit all day if I can. This time of year is perfect for sitting all the way through, besides the fact that the deer will move any time of day, the weather is much cooler, making it easier on the body and scent control to stay out all day.

I used to hunt all day. Now i hunt until about 1030am and take a break until about 3-4 hours befor sunset. It breaks the bordom, and gives me a chance to set up in a better spot in the afternoon if i want to, or change into different cloths if i got too hot in the morning.

I will when looking for a big buck. But only during the rut. If the rut is not on, ill leave by 11:00 Or 12:00pm and wait till 3:30pm to go back. It gets too hot here during the day early in the season, so no need to sweat it out. But when the rut is on, you never know. Some of my best bucks have been taken between 12:00 to 4:00 during the rut.

I make it a point to stay out all day when I hunt. A lot of deer get missed around lunch time.
I have killed my biggest bucks between 11 AM and 3 PM.

I usually come in around 11 and back out around 3. I would love to stay out all day, but too much to be done around the property. Maybe when shotgun season starts and my son is out with me, I will make it a day. (He is getting a bow for Christmas and has been practicing for the last few months with an old one.)
