Do I have a good plan?

Let me know what you think. I have been hunting one blind for most of the archery season. I have seen a ton of deer, but usually not at the right time or not close enough. I have another spot I am using (alternating for the next two weeks). The plan is, if the deer are patterning me (which I am sure they are) and they avoid these spots, that leaves them one small funnel to move from our land to the farm across the road. My plan is to concentrate on these two spots and then put my son right in the middle of the funnel for the first day of shotgun season. (He doesn't have a bow license yet. We will correct that next year.) Does this sound like a good plan?

Well, I don't get to hunt every day, so there are definitely "rest" periods there. I do know that the first day of shotgun, there will be a herd coming through the spot I am putting my son. The "army of darkness" will arrive at the property to our east and push the deer over to the farmto the south (right through our property). Happens every year. That is part of the reason I avoid this spot for archery season, because I know it will be high traffic in shotgun season.
