Anyone that knows big bucks is aware of Ohio's well deserved reputation. After you lose every hunting spot you have to outfitters and non-residents buying up most of the huntable property and being overrun by everybody and their brother on any public ground in your area, you'll wish nobody had even heard of Ohio!

I agree with SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hunt both the Northeastern and South Eastern Parts of Ohio andfeel no desire to hunt any other State. The ODNR has done an outstanding job in Ohio and I think they deserve the credit. I can remember getting excited if I saw a deer track. That was long ago but it true. Ther are plenty of wall hangers in the North Eastern Part of the statebut very little public hunting areas. You really have to hunt on private property up North in Ohio though I am sure there have been some whoppers taken on the public areas too.
