If one like that killed in the UP, it would look like a pumpkin patch on opening morning around that intersection! Too bad it killed by a car.

That definitely is a dandy buck. I was just thinking how funny it is that there are so many big buck around and yet none of us ever see them...even when we put forth our best effort to try to.

LOL I love Yoopers! My sister married one, and he's a great guy. I took him pheasant hunting last year. It took me a while to get him to understand that it's NOT okay to shoot them when they're walking on the ground. Later on, one flew into a tree. He walked to the bottom of the tree and shot it right out of the tree! I said "What the heck are you doin'!" He said "You said just don't shoot em on da ground, eh!". You just can't help Yoopers LOL....

He has a jeep with a fold down windshield. We jumped in the jeep to go to the store, and he pops the windshield down onto the hood for the ride. I said, "What's that for?" He said "Da bucks might be movin' today" [&:]. Gotta love Yoopers.

Sorry to hijack my own thread....

Called QDM

MI private land owners are forming large co-ops, were changing slowly, but we're changing.

I am working on co-op for my area.
You're right Germ. A friend of mine emailed me this morning with pics of a 145" 10 point typical killed in Southern Genesee county. There's a few nice ones around here if you can get on the private land to hunt them.

Wow, that is a nice buck anywhere you go, and a real nice one for MI. Too bad he went out like that.
