Alright guys, we have all missed deer before and we all admit it. I was wondering what is the closest shot on a deer that you missed. My closest miss was at about 5 yards, lets hear yours.

My 1st bowshot ever at a deer was about 2-3 yds from the base of my tree. I missed just low by a hair. He was a biggun too.

when I was 13 I missed a 12 pt monster at about 15 yards I was on the ground and I shot right under him. I am 34 now and still pissed.

12 yards, about 2 weeks ago.

5 yards when I was New to the game......didn't know to use my 30 yd pin.

All my misses were around 15 yards....one was 30

Huh?? I would think you would have shot over him. Either way, nice shooting Tex.

About ten yards.. it was a really windy day , my first year bowhunting ever!! I shot a small doe early in the season (first deer ever)

anyways.... the wind so awful my tree was swaying back and forth. It was making it difficult to concentrate. Next thing I know there is a buck right next to me and he is moving fast. I grab my bow and rushed the shot before he made his way out of my shooting area.. thankfully I shot right underneath him and he wasent injured. very very bad shot choice...[:@]
