how do you or What is the best way to tel the differenc
from a doe and a button buck

or can you and what exactly is a button buck

You can tell by head shape but honestly, you should be able to visually see the bumps even on this years!

Although the body size maybe about the same, the triangular or pushed in snout is usually a give away. Look for a more enlongated snout on a mature doe.

I always look at the length of their face/nose. Though late season bowhunting is pretty tough to tell sometimes but I always have binoculars along to look at the top of the head. Older does have a longer face/snout and the fawns/button bucks have a short face on them.

The bucks are the onesthat have nuts and the does are the ones that don't.

Kinda like ,Peter Paul almond joy has nuts...... Mounds don't.

Good binos are the most reliable, IMO. But if you're fortunate enough to have 2 fawns so you can compare the 2, the button will USUALLY be the bigger of the 2.
