Campbell's Challenge Day One

Congrats on your success. You will learn how to be comfortable in front of the camera. It takes a while but then it seems like you are just talking to one of your friends. You know we can talk hunting all day so just be yourself. Good luck to you both.

Well at the end of day two, we're now in third place. Two bigger does have been taken. So far no bucks.
Some really nice bucks have been videoed.
I was camera person for this afternoon's hunt. Justin and I had a couple of bucks come in. A 100-ish" messed up rack buckcame by at 30 yards. A 135-140" buck teased us for at least a half hour. He was 50-60 yards pretty much the whole time.I got some good footage of him. Maybe he'll come closer next time.
Tomorrow is another day............

Day two is here: http://www.huntingnet.com/fieldjournal/fieldjournal_detail.aspx?nID=795
Day three: http://www.huntingnet.com/fieldjournal/fieldjournal_detail.aspx?nID=794
(go easy on him for the typos, we're in a hurry and way short on sleep.)
Oh... and I beat Justin at the Techno Hunt again.

This timeI won a set of 20' climbing sticks. woohoo!

Last night Justin shot a beautiful 130" buck. The hit was a bit far back so we had a nervous night but we found the buck around 200 yards from the stand this morning.
Another team shot a monsterous doe and a buck this morning. The doe weighed around 170 lbs and the buck scored 136". So, dependingon the video scores, we're either in first place or second.
Either way, we're the happiest two people on the planet. We've got three deer in the truck and great footage.
Life is good...
