no they arent in season till mid november.....and by then they have already shed their antlers so it is VERY difficult to tell them apart from a rabbit. This is where my keen eyes come in to play.

Planter, if I'm not mistaken...I believe blacktails are the result of whitetails and muleys crossing.

Over population of jackalopes here in NY, Jim you are more that welcome to come to my place in Wyoming county, i'll put ya on some monsters thats for sure! I had one go boone last year!

Jim, I'd invite you out but the jackalopes are almost extinct here, no one practices QJM and the peak rut is right during rifle season. Too many people taking year and a half's and buttonlopes. Dang Minnesota hunters.

Buttonlopes... I like it. The only reason I spend any time hunting the elusive Jackalope is cause they make for an easy drag out of the woods..
